James Senu / full-stack developer + web designer

I make websitesthat look goodand actually work.

I’m James. I design and build websites from Accra, Ghana. Shops, restaurants, booking flows, weird product ideas, the whole thing. If it lives in a browser, I’ll probably try to make it nicer.

02 / Featured work

Four projects I’d put
on the big screen.

Not mystery thumbnails. Here’s what the things actually are.

03 / The toolbox

Things I can do.
Things CSS has made personal.

Swipe the cards on smaller screens. Your thumb deserves a change of scenery.

$ build something nice

→ designing... coding... testing at 320px because chaos lives there.

$ does it work on mobile?

→ it better. I have been warned.

01

Build

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Firebase, APIs, Git, Netlify and GitHub Pages.

Yes, the buttons work.
02

Design

Responsive UI, visual hierarchy, interaction, motion and design systems.

Spacing is a personality trait now.
03

Sell

E-commerce, carts, checkout flows, Paystack and conversion-focused product journeys.

“Add to cart” should actually add to cart. Revolutionary.
04

Ship

Testing, performance cleanup, accessibility basics and launch-ready handoff.

Then I refresh it 14 times for emotional support.

04 / The rest of the film roll

Nine more.
No filler episodes.

In the exact order my inner control freak requested.

05 / Food

Wrap District

Shawarma, burgers, loaded meals and a build-your-own flow. Also Feed the Street, because good food can do more than sit in a cart.

05 / About

Designer brain. Developer browser tabs.

I like websites with personality. I also like when they don’t break.

I’m James Senu, based in Accra. I work across visual direction, frontend development and backend-connected experiences. I care about the tiny details, but I also care about the boring useful stuff like forms submitting, carts remembering things and layouts behaving on a phone from 2017.

CURRENT STATUS
Probably moving a div 2px.

06 / Roll credits?

Got an idea?
Make it weird.

Tell me what you’re building, what is currently annoying you or just send the dangerously vague “I need a website” message. We’ll figure it out.
